When the phrase "I had a farm in Africa, at the foot of the Ngong Hills" (Out of Africa) happens to be also part of your life. How emotive the moment those same hills become part of your life landscape. A landscape which now belongs to your collection of images of places where you have lived and which have sealed an indelible mark in your heart.

Another famous line from the movie, "God made Earth Round so we could not see the end of the road", makes sense when you find yourself riding a jeep from which you literally do not see the end of the road. A path in which among the greatness of the landscape, you appreciate the company of animals that coexist with a harmony inherent in the natural order of nature. A nature where the chain of life survives with a naturalness that is forgotten in our modern civilization. This is the harmony inherited by its people, the inhabitants of their lands, who live immersed in an eternity that you, the traveller, will only perceive ephemerally, but which they know as the only reality.

The people. This is also another of the extraordinary richness of the country. People who have "Hakuna Matata" present in each sentence and show a spirit so spontaneous and human. Their speech exalts the good side of life and the maximum respect of the natural order of things. I encourage you to visit this country. I join the proverb in Suhili "penye nia pana njia", literally "where there is a desire, there is a way", to inject you this African spirit. Start that road today and get close to a country that will conquer your heart from the first moment and will stay there forever.
